When I was 14 years old my uncle needed head shots to include in medical school and employment applications. He explained how his Nikon SLR film camera worked, how to take the picture, and handed me the camera. Once I took the pictures I was hooked! However, it would be years before I had my own camera.

After receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State (Go Devils!) I spent the bulk of my career as a software developer and project manager. However, I was always a photo enthusiast, acquiring my own Pentax SLR camera at the age of 20. And over many years I enjoyed taking thousands and thousands of photos of people, places and things.

For the last 10 years I have been exploring various kinds of photography including couples, family, portraits, engagements, wedding, fashion, and fitness, both in studio and on location. Additionally, I have been involved in event and sports photography. This experience has enabled me to develop knowledge and skills in the photographic process in many situations. My greatest joy in working with clients is to successfully tell their story or capture the essence of the events.
